Roles & Responsibilities

  • RUN ALL PRE-ACADEMY SESSIONS & GAMES.

  • MANAGE SCHEDULING OF ALL PRE-ACADEMY & NORCAL GAMES TO ALLOW PLAYERS TO BE EXPOSED TO MULTIPLE LEVELS OF PLAY.

  • WORK WITH CLUB COACHES TO IMPLEMENT CONSISTENT SESSION STYLES AND PLAYING IDEAS.

  • ATTEND GAMES TO EVALUATE PLAYER AND COACH PERFORMANCES.

  • IDENTIFY PLAYERS IN ALL TEAMS SUITABLE FOR BOTH PRE-ACADEMY TEAMS AND PLATFORM TEAMS AT PARTNERSHIP CLUBS.

Coaches Brett & KP work together to provide coaching for the 6 Pre-Academy Boys teams from the 2013 to 2018/19 age groups!

The also oversee the development and management of the teams below them in their age groups ensuring a consistent approach to player development across those teams to allow players to move freely between the teams in order to manage the challenges each player faces.

Our Girls Pre-Academy program is lead by Director of Coaching Andrew McRobbie & Nathan Beddall.

Both coaches work on a long term player development plan looking to help our players to maximize their potential as they look to develop into High School ages and towards a National Platform from.

They also manage all the other girls staff and help to ensure every player in the program is given the right mixture of success and resistance in both trainings and games!
